Sushi – What I Eat

Let’s talk Sushi!! Within the last year or 2 I began eating sushi & now I’m obsessed. My mom always ate it and loves it so one day I finally decided I would try it. I’m still your basic girl with her California & Shrimp Tempura rolls, but I promise I will begin experimenting more with it soon lol. I thought this would be a super cool fun post to share what I eat whenever I get sushi. So let’s get into it!

Avocado Wrapped – avocado wrapped with spicy crab meat, and mango with a special sauce.

This is the newest thing my mom and I have been getting whenever we go to our local sushi restaurant! It contains avocado wrapped with spicy crab meat, and mango with a special sauce. The special sauce is actually a little sweet so it takes away some of that spice. It’s so amazing! Super spicy though, so if you’re not one for spice I recommend you stay away from this. This is under ‘appetizers’ on the menu. I’m sure most maybe all sushi places have some form of this or you can ask them to make it!

Shrimp Tempura Roll & California Roll

My usual order. So basic I know lol. I just love a good California Roll – crab, avocado and cucumber. The California Roll is a very light tasting sushi. I think it’s almost refreshing in a way, but thats probably because of the avocado and cucumber. Shrimp Tempura roll is fried shrimp with cucumber. It’s so good, and crunchy lol. My favorites.

Vegetable Fried Rice W/ Pineapple Slices

Another amazing dish is this vegetable fried rice, we always ask for pineapple slices with it. It’s amazing because the rice is hot and the pineapple is cold, ugh love it lol. Within the rice is – broccoli, carrots, eggs, peas, pineapples, and obviously rice. Who doesn’t love rice right?

Mango Crab Roll & Spicy Tuna Roll

My mom’s favorite order – Mango Crab Roll & Spicy Tuna Roll. I haven’t tried these yet and I most likely won’t try the spicy tuna one because I’m not the biggest fan of tuna lol, but I will definitely try the mango crab one. Mango Crab roll is exactly that, mangoes and crab meat. The spicy tuna roll is tuna with a spicy topping which is usually Sriracha sauce and sesame oil. Not all sushi restaurants may have the mango crab roll, but definitely ask them!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! I hope it gave you some ideas on new sushi dishes to try out!

I have always been curious about the mango roll when I see it on the menu, so I’ll definitely have to try it next time. I might cry I want sushi so badly right now…. Just have to make it till tomorrow, and I will get some for lunch!
