New Favorite Hair Products

2 months of no hair salon has really showed me how much love my hair actually needs. My hair is dry, dead and my blonde is now orange. It’s definitely a struggle over here, but luckily quarantine and the Sephora sale helped me try out some new hair products and I’m totally obsessed!

Most days my hair gets air dried or put up in a clip like the infamous 90s prom hairstyle. These new products have changed the hair game for me and I’m actually excited when I style my hair now!

To test all the products first I ordered the smallest sizes of everything to make sure they worked and I liked them. I highly recommend doing this whenever trying new products for the first time, it also saves you some money.

If you try any of these products tag me on Instagram so I can see!

  1. Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3 – I’ve always heard the name Olaplex being used in my hair salon, but never actually knew what it quite was. I finally decided to research it and thought this specific product would be the best for me to get. Let me tell you, this stuff is a game changer! It completely brought my dry/dead hair back to life! You use it for 10 minutes on damp hair before shampoo and conditioner.
  2. Blonde Maintenance – Bust Your Brass Starter Set – Like I said before, my blonde has turned orange. I was in dire need of a color touch up so I searched and searched for some purple shampoos. When I saw this little maintenance kit in the Sephora sale I figured I’d try since the bottles were travel sized and it had good reviews. First use I did not leave the products on long enough to see a great change in my blonde color, so I waited to really make a judgement until 2 uses. I can honestly say these products fixed my blonde color! I never believed in purple shampoo before, but I sure do now!
  3. Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer Mini – Not much to say about this product, I just really needed a new heat protectant and this one had really good reviews! I like that it’s a spray bottle and not an actual oil.
  4. Ouai Wave Spray Mini – My hair has a natural wave to it so I wanted a product that would just enhance the waves and not make my hair frizzy. If you’re not a perfume lover, probably stay away from this because the smell is strong. I don’t mind it though.
