My Blogging Experience

I started Theresa Marie Daily on January 9, 2017. I’ve always been so fascinated with bloggers and YouTubers. It just always seemed like so much fun. I’m obsessed with watching YouTube videos of all the beauty gurus and most of them actually have blogs of their own! I don’t think I could do YouTube. It seems like real hard work. Blogging is hard work too but at least you can write a post in your pajamas lol.

I got the idea to create a blog at 1:30 am on January 9th. I went to sleep with it on my mind and the next day I did it. I just went for it, I researched it and I did it. If you ask me how I came up with the name Theresa Marie Daily I honestly couldn’t tell you, well I mean, Theresa is my first name and Marie is my middle name. I knew I wanted to use those names but the Daily part I have no idea where it came from. It was one of those things that just popped into my head and I had to write it down so I wouldn’t forget it. I love the name Theresa Marie Daily and I’m so happy I came up with it!

When I started my blog, I actually had traffic right away. But that’s simply because my mom put it on her Facebook page lol. So proud. I also gained traffic because as I was figuring out how to use WordPress I was searching up blogs and tags to find other bloggers to follow. I became so fascinated with it. I loved looking at everyone’s blogs and seeing how they do it. It is an ongoing process gaining traffic and followers to not only my blog but, all my other socials. I would love to be one of those bloggers with thousands of subscribers/followers but Theresa Marie Daily is still a baby and that many followers in a short amount of time is not a reasonable thing. I love each and every one of my 380 subscribers, and all my social media followers, you are all amazing! I am not so much concerned about the numbers as much as I am concerned that everyone likes my content. I want my subscribers to love what I create as much as I love it.

When I switched over to Self Hosted it was a panic. I thought I was going to lose all my hard work and all my lovely followers. But, I didn’t. It was a very stressful time for me, especially since I started the process at 10 pm on a school night and had to wake up at 6 the next morning. I didn’t go to bed until 4 am that night, so you know I was exhausted during class that next day.

I have made so many friends through blogging! Everyone in the blogging community is so supportive and appreciative of others. I really want to thank everyone who has given me support, advice, help and who has been there with me on this amazing blogging journey. I am apart of some blogging groups on various social medias and they truly are amazing. All the bloggers in those accounts have shown me so much support and I truly am so grateful for it.

I hope to continue this for a long time, hopefully even forever! I am so proud of myself for taking the risk and creating Theresa Marie Daily. I was always a very shy person and not until recently have I become more outgoing. I am no longer afraid to express myself and show the world what I can do! I thank blogging for that. I am so grateful for this opportunity.

Thank you everyone!

You need to tell me your secret babe, you’ve had so much success and you’ve just started this year!! You have such a wonderful blog, and such beautiful and I enjoy your posts. So glad I met you through that FB original Girl Boss group :)) …I just noticed in another comment up the top that you were and went to…. whats the difference and did it make much difference being seen on the web? I’m with wordpress. xx

Thank you so much love!💕… the difference between & .org is that with .org you own your website you use a hosting site to well host it, they take care of mainly everything & then you are 100% in control of your website. has many limitations with what you can actually do to your website. With it is fully yours so you have no limitations.
