Living a Healthy Lifestyle in 2019

I made 2018 the year of mental health for me. I grew more confident, happy, and positive. I didn’t focus too much on physical health, because my mental health really needed the TLC. Now that I have the mental health down (always start with your mental health), I can focus on my physical health.

Based on a healthy BMI recommendation, my healthy weight range for being 5’2 is 101.1 lbs – 136.7 lbs. I am not going to lie and say I am near those numbers, because that would only hurt myself for lying. I am not close to those numbers, which is why I am working on my physical health. My main goal for 2019 is to lose 40+ lbs. You’re probably like WHAT you don’t need to lose that much! But, in reality I do and it’s okay.

I’ve noticed though if I only set one goal like that, I end up getting discouraged and fall off the bandwagon. Which is why I am creating little fitness goals instead! My first goal is to lose 5 lbs by my birthday, which is January 24th!

I started personal training on January 2nd. I have gone to this trainer before when she worked at my gym and now she does personal training privately in her home! I am someone who hates going to a gym because I feel like everyone is looking at me even though I know no one is, so this being just me and her, is exactly what I need.

In between training, I have rest days or I do some physical activity outside. I like to go on walks/hikes or do some light yoga just to keep my body moving and help with soreness.

I train 3xs a week, every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday! I honestly love it! I have already noticed changes like: my energy levels being up, and less bloating! I feel great and I’m so happy I am already seeing results! I share my workouts and updates on my Instagram stories so follow me there to see! I also have a Fitness/Health story highlight where I keep everything saved to look back on!

Here are two videos of previous workouts:
