Favorite Cardigans

Cardigans are such an easy way to dress up or down any outfit. You can wear them as an accessory piece with a dressy outfit, or as the main piece in a casual outfit. They keep you warm and cute! What a great combo to be! Here are some of my favorite cardigans:

Cardigan # 1

This is a black crotchet, wrap cardigan. It is from Express a few years ago. This cardigan is a great piece to have in your closet. Because of the wrap, you can dress this cardigan up easy. In my opinion, when a cardigan has a wrap detail on it, it makes it a little dressier. This is a thick material so I wouldn’t recommend wearing a heavy sweater or shirt underneath it. It’s great for light layers underneath.

Cardigan # 2

This is another wrap cardigan but in a creamy beige color. This is also an older cardigan from Abercrombie & Fitch a few years ago. This cardigan is also a very heavy material, but it is very soft and comfortable. I love having 2 kinds of things, having a black and a beige in a wrapped cardigan is great for those neutral colors.

Since it is later in the colder season, I cannot find any wrap cardigans online. Most clothing stores do make them though, they are usually more expensive than a regular cardigan.

Cardigan # 3

This cardigan is super warm! It’s long and almost a fuzzy type of material. It is definitely a heavier cardigan. I love the length of this cardigan. It’s always good to have a cardigan that is longer than usual. I love the Aztec print too. It makes it fun, to pair a plain shirt with.

Cardigan # 4

This cardigan is also an Aztec print. I just love the way it looks with a plain shirt. Any type of printed cardigan will really dress up and give more life to a plain shirt. This is a ¾ quarter sleeved cardigan. It is a great layering piece, although it is a thick material, it is a very light cardigan to wear. You can definitely add a colored shirt with this cardigan, but for me because of the black and cream colors I like to stay neutral and wear a black long sleeve.

These links are for both Aztec prints. Cardigan # 3 & 4.

Cardigan # 5

My last cardigan is a fuzzy black cardigan from Forever 21. This cardigan is so amazingly soft and comfortable. I wear this cardigan more as a casual piece. It isn’t heavy, but it will definitely keep you warm due to the texture of the material. Because this cardigan is a gray/black color it is easy to pair with any colored shirt. This cardigan also has 2 pockets in the front that I love.

Fuzzy Cardigans – many cardigans are sold out because it’s the end of the winter season.
