Hi loves! Today I am sharing my 4 tips on how to style a flannel shirt! Flannel shirts are my favorite. They are so easy and can be styled so many different ways! Flannels can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Featured in this post will be 2 casual ways to wear flannels and 2 ways to dress flannels up. Thank you for stopping by!

Casual:

Look # 1

This look is great for those days when it is cool out, but not super cold so you don’t need a jacket. Tie a flannel around your waist so you can put it on when it gets chilly. This is a very casual and laid back outfit. It features black workout leggings, a white long sleeve athletic top, a red/brown flannel and black ugg slippers. This is a great casual look for school, running errands, even going shopping. It is also great to wear to the gym and if you have to do something after and don’t have time to change you can just untie the flannel and wear it.

Look # 2

This look is a step up in the casual department. I love pairing a sweater over a flannel for extra warmth and style. This outfit is still a very comfortable choice, it is just “higher end” casual. This look is great to wear for school, errands, and lunch, shopping, even to work if you are allowed to dress casual. With the right accessories this outfit could easily be dressed up as well. Featured in this look are blue jeans, tan/brown cowgirl booties, a blue and white flannel, and a white sweater.

Dressy:

Look # 1

In look one I have paired black jeans, black tall riding boots, with a white and black plaid shirt along with a black eyelash cardigan. This outfit is so cute. It is definitely dressy. This would be great for going out to dinner, a fancy lunch, a party, on a date, and maybe even school (depending on how you feel). The jeans are so comfortable and this flannel is so soft! I love wearing a trendy cardigan over a flannel especially this one! It is soft and so chic. The cardigan is a very light material so it won’t make you hot with the layers.

Look # 2

I love wearing a faux fur vest over a flannel. It creates a stylish twist on such a traditional flannel. Faux fur and flannel is such a cute trend. These two paired together are great because of the different textures they offer. This flannel is my favorite. It is an extremely soft material as well. This outfit is great for parties or a night out/dinner. It is dressy while still remaining comfortable and cute.
