Hi loves! Today, I have another beauty post for you! Are you excited?!?!? It’s all about my favorite lip products! If you had to take away all my makeup, you would have to leave me mascara and lips products, my two favorite makeup products. As you’ll be able to tell I love nudes and pinks! I think they compliment my eye color (blue) so well. I hope you all enjoy this post!
All of these products are super creamy and light on the lips. Especially the Avon products. They’re the creamiest lip products I’ve ever used. They’re not so creamy where they’ll come off after 2 minutes, well at least for me they don’t! I highly recommend trying out all these brands for lip products!! They’re so amazing and highly pigmented. (The Nivea A Kiss Of Shimmer and BABY Lips Crystal are more of a tinted chapstick, on your lips they show more of a color than in the swatch picture.)
The colors are in order in the pictures from their numbers. In this picture below start with the Nars color Sexual Healing (the one with the messed up applicator lol) and work your way down, the last color in the back row is Avon Wine With Everything. Then start from the color in front of Sexual Healing which is Twinkle Pink all the way to the BABY Lips. The last row is the Two Faced Metallic Frozen Hot Chocolate to It Cosmetics Laugh.
Hi loves! I don’t know about you, but I am so obsessed with taking baths and anything bath related! I recently came across a recipe on pinterest for DIY sugar scrubs. I love sugar scrubs and exfoliating my skin! I made holiday themed ones during Christmas time for my family and they loved them so I thought I would do a Spring themed one with Lavender and share it with all of you! I hope you all enjoy this post! If you have any more questions that I may not answer in this post feel free to contact me on any of my social medias or email me from my Contact Me page. Happy Sunday!
If you are making more than one repeat all the steps until you have all your scrubs complete (I made 4 sugar scrubs so I repeated the steps 3 more times after the first one.
You can use the sugar scrubs in the bathtub or in the shower. I prefer to use them in the bathtub but they work in both situations. Sugar Scrubs are meant for exfoliating the skin. I would recommend only using this product on your arms, legs, and underarms for it can be hard on softer skin. Do not use on your face (they make sugar scrubs for face use those for they are specified for the face).
Lavender is actually very beneficial. It helps with more things than anyone would ever think. Lavender for me is what I use when I am nervous or anxious. It helps calm me down and get me relaxed. I also use it on nights when I can’t sleep. I have horrible sleeping problems so I will take my oil and put it on my temples, wrists, neck and feet before going to bed sometimes and I can honestly say it helps me sleep so much better. Here are some benefits to lavender.
Hi loves! I’m so excited to share this with you! Who doesn’t love tacos right? Why not make them extra healthy and instead of a shell you use a pepper! This recipe is so good. This might be my new favorite meal!
I hope you enjoyed this recipe! I highly recommend trying it! It’s so amazing! Tacos are my favorite so I love having this recipe when I’m trying to eat healthier! xo
Hello Beautiful People! Today I bring you the love of comfort aka my bed. My bed is my absolute favorite thing in my bedroom. It is so comfortable and stylish it just makes me so happy! I hope you enjoy this post! Maybe it will inspire you, if you are redoing your bedroom! Thank you for stopping by!
I think having a comfortable bed is the most important thing for your sleep. If your bed isn’t comfortable or feels “like home” you aren’t going to sleep as great as you would if it were actually comfortable. I love faux fur anything, so I wanted to have a lot of it in my bedroom! Faux fur has been around for so long but recently it has gained a lot of attention. I find faux fur to be cute, stylish, soft and super comfortable, so why not put it on your bed right?
The color scheme in my room incorporates white, chocolate brown, and beige/taupe. I love how these colors look together. They are so classy and timeless. My bed features an all white comforter, with matching white pillows, a camel/beige faux fur throw blanket, 2 white faux fur big square pillows, a faux fur taupe colored medium square pillow and a faux fur camel and beige/cream long body pillow. As you can tell I absolutely love faux fur. The softness and fluffy textures of the pillows and throw blanket, along with the roughness of my pleated/ruffled white comforter create the most luxurious bed.
Thanks for tuning into this post!

Everyone experiences some type of stress or anxiety during his or her life. It’s not a great feeling. Learning how to deal with your stress and or anxiety will really help you overcome it. If you can control it you’ll be able to get through whatever it is that is causing you so much stress and or anxiety.
As a college student, I experience lots of stress and anxiety. I am a finance major so all my classes involve some type of math, whether it be calculus, statistics or basic algebra. Math has never been my best subject, but I get through it. Math causes me the most anxiety during school. Besides math, school just overwhelms me sometimes and causes me to freak out! I have learned ways to deal with my stress and or anxiety.
I am not a stress/anxiety expert but, these are some of the things that help me get through my stress and anxiety so I thought why not share them with the world! I hope at least one of these tips can help you cope with your stress and or anxiety. If they all work for you then that’s even better! Thank you for taking the time to read this post!
The most obvious thing right? Yeah I know, but when you’re overwhelmed with stress and or anxiety sometimes you forget to breathe and have a panic attack. Breathing is a natural thing that our bodies do. We are aware that we are breathing, but we usually don’t sit down to actually focus on it. Try it out.
Go into a room, whether it is your room, your kitchen, living room, even the bathtub lol, light some candles (or battery ones whichever you prefer) and sit with the lights off and just breathe. In through the nose, and out the mouth. Close your eyes too and just breathe.
This will honestly relax you so much you might even get tired. The best thing to do when stressed or feeling anxious is to relax, and breathing is your first step to relaxation.
One of my favorite things to do is honestly going for a walk. It could be alone or with someone. Walking is the best for your mind and your overall health. Walk to a park, or even just around the block of your house. Listen to the birds chirping (if any lol) and just appreciate all the things that you have, also #1 rule don’t forget to breathe.
I don’t know how anyone goes through life without planning. Planning is my go to when I am stressed out. I absolutely love planning. I use an Erin Condren Life Planner (The 2017-18 month version. It begins from July 2016 and goes until December of 2017). This planner is everything. Planning your days, weeks, and months can relieve so much of your stress because it will set your mind up to know what you have upcoming. When I have everything planned out, I am less stressed because I know how much time I have before something is due or before I have an upcoming event. I create a time frame for myself and this keeps me on track. Planning is one of my essentials for less stress. It relaxes me so much.
Along with planning, is To-Do Lists! When you physically write out what you have to do in a day or for that week, you are less likely to forget it. I love To-Do lists! You can write your To-Do lists in your planner or buy a To-Do lists pad from any store that sells stationary, you can even write it in the notes section of your phone. When you accomplish something on your To-Do lists and are able to cross it out or check it off you feel so great and accomplished. Finishing something on your To-Do lists gives you a feeling of relief because you finally finished something. To-Do lists will also help you keep track of the things you wrote in your planner, like upcoming events.
Planning and To-Do lists are 2 of my essentials for dealing with my stress and anxiety. They help me so much with school and budgeting my time wisely.
***Any writing pad or even a notebook or sticky notes would work for a To-Do Lists whatever you are most comfortable using***
Anti-Stress Art Therapy is absolutely amazing!! There are so many coloring books and painting books even arts and crafts that are dedicated for Anti-Stress Therapy. A few years ago, one of my friends bought me a book from Urban Outfitters called The Mindfulness Coloring Book Anti-Stress Art Therapy for Busy People by Emma Farrarons. Let me just tell you, this coloring book has helped me so much. This book is a great escape from all your stress and anxiety. Colors have different effects on our minds. Some colors promote happiness and relaxation, where others promote anger, or hunger. You will get lost in these coloring books, I promise you. You’ll say “ill just color for 2 minutes” those 2 minutes will eventually turn into 2 hours and when you’re finally done you will feel so much better. So relaxed and stress free.
Now I know not everyone goes to the gym or works out and that’s totally fine! Do you booboo! But, if you do this you must try yoga! Yoga, when you are stressed or dealing with anxiety is so amazingly relaxing. It makes you feel so calm and happy. If you don’t know how to do yoga or have no access to go to a gym that offers classes don’t worry! There are plenty of yoga websites and YouTube videos you can watch for free! There’s even free apps you can download. My favorite app / website for yoga is Yoga.com. Yoga is not only beneficial to the mind, but also the body. Yoga works your entire body especially your core. If you don’t have much time, there are plenty of short workouts you can do which are usually called Sun Salutations. Trust me yoga is a great way to relieve stress and anxiety. The best part about yoga is it incorporates breathing! Breathing in yoga is one of the main focuses because it will relax you completely. If you aren’t a fan of yoga and you would rather go for a run or go lift heavy weights I encourage that too! When you workout your body releases endorphins. Endorphins are the body’s natural analgesics or “painkillers.” They make you feel happy and calm. Which is the goal when you’re stressed or anxious right? So do some yoga or get a good workout in!
My last tip is to unplug from all social medias. That’s right no more texting, FaceTime, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, or Snapchat, etc. I’m not saying to deactivate your accounts. I for one think social media is great. I am simply saying, “unplug” for a few hours. This tip can be the first thing you do before all of these other tips. Unplug from social medias, meaning put down your phone for a bit, turn off your notifications, or simply turn off your phone. Some people may say that social medias can help you deal with stress and or anxiety, but for me it doesn’t. Especially if I see a post online on a topic that gets me heated I’m going to get angry and become more stressed than I already was. Unplugging from social medias for a few hours to set your mind free is not a bad thing. When you’re stressed or dealing with anxiety you want to have an open mind and be calm. So unplugging for a bit is a good thing. Trust Me.
I hope these tips help you deal with your stress and or anxiety like how they have helped me! Thank you for reading! If you try out any of these tips and they work for you leave me a comment below! I would love to hear your feedback and what worked for you!!
**I just wanted to mention that this post is not sponsored. I really do love and use the Erin Condren Planner, the Yoga.com app and The Mindfulness Coloring Book Anti-Stress Art Therapy for Busy People By Emma Farrarons***
